Keeping up with my blog has been a challenge lately. I don't have a problem taking the picture each day, but taking time to reflect on the moments of the day is a bit more time consuming. Today's pictures were taken on a walk with my dad and Kendra. A perfect evening stroll.
Reclaiming Experience
This blog is a tool for recording my experiences as well as evaluating my day-to-day life. With my camera in hand, I will make meaning out of my life.

Day 132: Movie Night
It was another nice day outside. The weather seems to have turned around again from the chilly cloudy days to the sunny warm days. I truly cannot wait for school to be over. I've got a lot of ideas for what I'd like to do this summer and I am excited to start living it up.
I've uploaded some pictures onto flickr from my trip. I'm not even halfway done, but for those interested, here is the site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/outofthecave/
I was going to go to the musical tonight to see my past students, but the day wore me down, so instead I took a bath and am now watching Midnight in Paris, wishing I was back.

Day 131: Staying In
I had a chance to sleep in today since I didn't go to work and all I could get was an extra 30 minutes of sleep. I went to the doctor and she gave me a different type of antibiotic, allergy medicine, and recommendation to see a pulmonary doctor. I talked about my sleeping habits and she thinks it might be beneficial to have a sleep study done. It was kind of funny because I found out that my nasal passage is narrow and when others' nose swells, it is about the size of my normal nose. She also said my tonsils hang low in my throat, so that could be causing sleep apnea. I'm kind of glad I am going to have the sleep study done, it should be interesting.
Today you see a picture of my walls, barren, but left with the slightest hint of what used to be there.

Day 130: Mopey
Movement was a challenge today. I woke up to my alarm thinking I still had 4 more good hours of sleep. I felt so weak. I spent a good portion of the day sitting. I normally never sit during teaching, but I just needed to. I decided to call the doctor to schedule an appointment because I'm tired of not feeling like myself. Hopefully we can figure out what is going on.

Day 129: A Good Day
Today was a pretty good day. My humor was spot on with the kids, no one brought drugs to school today (that we know of), it was a great day for cloud observations, there is less and less to move to the new place, and the future looks exciting. All in all, not bad.

Day 128: The Master
I picked up my cap and gown tonight for graduation. I was fortunate enough to meet up with some cool ladies for drinks afterwards to celebrate being a "master." It made me think of the fun I'm going to have this summer. Things are going pretty well right now...

Day 127: Triggers
I began by taking my loaded car to the new place this morning to unload. I think by the end of this week I will be pretty much set minus the big furniture. Here you see my new grill and my bistro set with the tablecloth I bought in Provence. It is so fun to take out those little souvenirs and start using them. I love to have little reminders of my trips around me.
My condo reminds me of Europe in a way. It is kind of silly, but my door is one of those triggers. Each door to the apartments we have rented in Europe had a little trick to getting them open. My door has the same. I have to turn the key in the opposite direction that I turn the door. Also, I have to turn the knob to the left to leave. The other trigger is my toilet. It has a European look to it. The next time I go over I'll take a picture to show you.
